Dawn at the front desk was just fantastic, she fixed everything with a smile and even pointed us to the outdoor firepit where we enjoyed roasting marshmallows.
It wasn't exactly cheap, but for the experience, it was still worth it.

The scenic lake views were stunning, while the restaurant was unexpectedly closed.

Had a lovely time enjoying the beautiful lake views from our room's patio while making s'mores by the fire each evening. The outdoor swimming pool was refreshing and a great way to unwind after a day of exploring. Just a heads up, we did experience some noise from neighboring rooms, but that didn’t take away from our stay! 🌅

Had an amazing time with friends! We explored the breathtaking Blue Ridge Mountains and Lake Chatuge, and the scenery was just perfect. The marina offered us boat rentals, which was a blast. We even enjoyed some great golfing at the nearby Chatuge Shores Golf Course. Can't wait to come back for the annual events!
One downside was that the dining room was closed unexpectedly one night, which was a bit frustrating since we were all looking forward to a meal together.

This place was just a great fit for a lightning stop in Young Harris with good value. Loved the giant fireplace in the lobby—it made the place feel cozy and inviting. Make sure to check out the swings by the water for a nice moment of relaxation.

great stay but missed breakfast options
The friendliness of the staff stood out to us. Denise and her team truly created a welcoming atmosphere. We were impressed by how clean everything was. the lodge felt fresh and well-maintained. Our lake view from the room was breathtaking and made our mornings special.
We would have appreciated a continental breakfast option, which was lacking during our stay.

The location is beautiful and offers a relaxing atmosphere. While I enjoyed the comfortable shower and courteous staff, the cleanliness of the room left something to be desired, and I faced issues with noise from the hall. Overall, it offers a good experience, especially for families looking for a scenic getaway.

I adored the beautiful holiday decorations, especially the cozy lobby with a roaring fire. The staff were incredibly attentive, making my experience feel warm and welcoming, which is especially important for seniors like myself.
Improve accessibility to dining options in the evenings.

This place suits me perfectly with excellent wi-fi, a fitness center, and a seasonal outdoor pool. On my first stay, the staff helped me find a money exchange. Highly recommend for a relaxing experience. I'm coming back for a city trip.

Solid lakefront views that really enhance the whole vibe of the place. A nice fire pit area provides a cozy spot for unwinding in the evenings after a long day.
For a so-called resort, it falls short if you're not keen on boating or golf, leaving you with limited options for entertainment. The restaurant prices are shockingly high for what they offer, with an assortment of options that feels unnecessarily restrictive, and the supposed 'lake views' can end up being parking lot sights, leaving a lot to be desired.

cozy, cozy, cozy
My time here was cozy, cozy, cozy! The lake view from my Resort Side King room was breathtaking, especially as the sun dipped behind the mountains. I loved gathering around the fire pit for s'mores every evening with friends and enjoying the rustic charm of the place.
totally recommend ❤️🌟

We had an amazing time exploring the beautiful Blue Ridge Mountains and Lake Chatuge. The resort provided a perfect atmosphere for family fun, with amenities like boat rentals at the marina and access to trails perfect for walking our large breed dog. The kids loved the Waterworks World and making s'mores by the fire.
For dads, it would be great if there were more activities for younger kids.

excellent central spot for exploring parks and charming boutiques
the breakfast was just ok but the dinner was amazing, and the hotel’s close proximity to a few steps from the marina offered a lovely view of the lake that made morning strolls delightful.
